I wanna go back.

I keep seeing people fly by on those little motor scooters. It reminds me of being a kid and dreaming of a owning my very own Power Wheels Jeep. Sure, I loved my pedal-powered Hot Wheels, but the idea of going up to 8 miles per hour in the front yard with very little effort was just too cool! Life happens too fast sometimes. The dreams of a Power Wheels Jeep have been replaced with IRA's, retirement, bills, the distant hope of some kind of vacation... I miss being a kid!

Check this: I found a picture from the very last day of high school. It was taken by Brandon Brock on his new, high-tech digital camera (at the time, like half a megapixel resolution was awesome!). Mrs. Ragsdale was the substitute for Mrs. Hubbard. I remember, on that day, as we were returning all of our textbooks, Mrs. Ragsdale was sooo worried that the table she had set up to put all the books on was going to collapse. Great memories!

Cold coffee.

How many times can you nuke coffee and it still taste ok? It's impossible for me to drink an entire cup of coffee. There's always that bit in the bottom of the cup that gets microwaved several times throughout the day. Haven't dropped any phones in the toilet, although I've been dangerously close several times. Oh yea, Eddie Money and Loverboy will be rockin' the Goldstrike Casino April 8th! I've got my one ticket to paradise.. since nobody else wants to see the show.. everyone else is going for the casino.

I'm not much for updating... I tend to read other's Xangas and neglect to update my own. Not a whole lot to update about... life is ever-busy as usual. Summer's over.. a good summer filled with interesting things, like my super rock and roll weekend, where I saw Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, and Eddie Money all in one weekend! They all still rock out like they were teenagers, seriously. Joe Elliot (lead singer of Def Leppard) has got to be one of the sexiest men alive. In other news,  I'd like to congratulate Jeremy on his engagement to Alexandra. :)

Bend over and I'll show ya....

Somebody might actually be reading my xanga now! We're having a blast here at work. Well, maybe too much of one. I wear the bookstore phone on my back pocket sometimes... earlier, I went to go pee, and forgot it was there. When I pulled down my pants, the phone flipped off and splashed into the toilet. It worked for a good ten minutes after that... ahem... Jake is at Wal-mart buying a new phone right now!

I cancelled my internet at home... I just can't justify spending $40 a month for something I have at work (which is right around the corner). The lady at the cable place gave me a hard time about disconnecting... "Are you sure you want to cancel service at this great, low rate?" I said, "Umm, I never use it." Then she says, "Well, I understand that if you never use it, then why pay for it. But are you sure, honey?" Then she tried to push some upgraded cable TV packages on me. "It's just $29.95 for four months! This is one of our best deals ever!" ...."How much is it after four months?".... "Well, then, it's $49.95." HELL NO. That's just for basic basic extended cable. What a freaking rip off. All of that stuff is... the cell phone too. Once they add taxes and shit, your bill is like $65 a month... and that's if you don't go over your minutes. Which I never do, because I refuse to chat on a cell phone. I use it for work purposes only, and as a personal answering machine. I'll call someone back on my own time. Ok.. back to work. :)
